Simon Linsteadt is a singer-songwriter and composer living in Midcoast Maine. Since 2013 he has released eight albums as a solo artist and formerly as frontman of Steep Ravine. He has toured extensively throughout the US and beyond, performing at venues including The Fillmore, Great American Music Hall, The Freight and Salvage, and many more. Some recent work as a composer includes music for NPR's This American Life and commercial scoring and sound design for Meta. His music has been streamed over 5 million times, and is featured on the prominent playlist Classic Acoustic. His April 2021 album, Gualala, is a nine-song collection of folk-pop with twinkling traces of electronica, anchored by his signature melodic core. His forthcoming winter 2022 album Mud Season is a nineteen-track folk album with unconventional turns.
